Let Project HOPE help! We are a multi-organization collaborative with expertise in areas of housing, connecting you to resources, and helping you through the application process. Project HOPE (Homeless Outreach and Prevention Education) is a program designed to provide resource navigation, outreach and engagement, case management, and other support services to individuals and families experiencing housing instability or at risk of becoming homeless. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners called upon CMRS to help BIPOC communities access COVID housing resources. To do so, CMRS convened 16 culturally-specific organizations to act as trusted messengers and help households complete housing resources applications.
Under the umbrella of Project HOPE, these organizations continue to participate in a collaborative model of sharing intersectional expertise, community relationships, and language skills to collectively serve hard-to-reach communities within suburban Hennepin County. Through our program's focus on resource navigation, outreach and engagement, case management, and other support services, we have been successful in helping many people achieve housing stability and improve their lives. |
