CMRS has long been involved in mediations between landlords and tenants, helping them work out agreements that ensure that the landlord's needs are met while preventing the destabilization of evictions. As the Twin Cities' rental housing crisis has worsened in recent years, CMRS has expanded its work to help found Project HOPE (Housing Outreach Partners Engaging), a collaborative effort among several Minnesota nonprofits to find solutions for landlords and tenants.
